Medical Exclusive Istanbul was founded in 2005 by a family with German roots from Mannheim who has been deeply rooted in Istanbul for over 30 years. Socialised in Germany, at home in Türkiye – this is where our strength lies: a unique bridge between two lived realities. It is the basis of our standards—and our promise of quality.

We don’t just speak both languages—we understand both mindsets down to the details: German structure, reliability and planning security meet Turkish flexibility, operative precision and warmth. This combination isn’t a theory; it’s daily practice—and it shapes every decision we make.

What essentially sets us apart:

Every patient receives individual care—with a high level of attention, transparency and trust. We don’t work with external translators; we take care of our guests ourselves—in German, Turkish or English—competently, clearly and sensitively.

We work with carefully selected physicians, clinics and strictly audited, certified facilities—including JCI-accredited (Joint Commission International) clinics and ISO 9001 certified hospitals that are also state-inspected and approved by the Turkish Ministry of Health. Our partners are chosen not by self-promotion but by performance, quality and experience—with the goal of finding the right specialist for every patient.

We also actively address sensitive topics such as the safety of women travelling alone or LGBTQ+ persons—with concrete measures and thoughtful processes that ensure discretion and protection at the highest level.

How we work

1) First contact & photo assessment
You receive an honest assessment of feasibility, method and budget framework. We discuss alternatives—and we clearly say if a treatment is not advisable.

2) Individual planning
A realistic timeline (arrival, pre-assessment, surgery day, first check-up, return) and precise coordination of clinic, physician and hotel.

3) On-site support
Personal welcome, help with check-in, transfer coordination, appointment escort—and a contact person who remains reachable if details change.

4) Documented aftercare
Structured photo follow-ups, healing-progress checks, clear care plans. If necessary, we arrange additional check-ups.

A service culture you can feel

  • Availability, including evenings/weekends where sensible.
  • Empathy and plain language: we speak clearly—no jargon—and answer questions before they arise.
  • Privacy: discreet pick-up/drop-off, calm hotel categories, sensitive conduct in clinic and transfers.

Support before, during and after surgery

Before the procedure

  • Medical preparation: anamnesis check, labs/imaging where appropriate, notes on medication and supplements.
  • Expectation management: realistic goal-setting (e.g., hairline, nasal shape, dental aesthetics), before/after references, written confirmation.
  • Travel & logistics: flight/hotel windows, transfer chain, buffer times, escort organisation.
  • Checklists: packing list, hygiene/care, return travel advice, return to work/sport.

During the surgical phase

  • Pre-op & consent: last questions answered, photographic documentation, final surgical planning with the treating physician.
  • Process transparency: who does what, how long it takes, what comes next.
  • Comfort options: Comfort-In (needle-free) and—if sensible—sedation (“deep sleep”) as medically indicated.
  • Communication with companions: status updates, pick-up/return transfer.

After the procedure

  • First check-up: dressing change/wash depending on the intervention; instructions on care and behaviour.
  • Care kits & medication: clear, multilingual instructions; dosages in writing.
  • Digital follow-up: photo check-ups by plan (e.g., day 10 / week 4 / months 3 / 6 / 12), tele-consultations.
  • Return to life: tailored advice on work, sport, sun and travel; referral to local physicians for check-ups if needed.
